Time is a function of space and speed. (Speed = Distance/Time, therefore Time = Speed/Distance).
In your present moment, if your mind is not thinking and you are stationary, you are just being present in the moment and being aware of the moment unfolding, then factually time becomes ZERO in both the quantum and the physical realms. Once time is ZERO, then that present moment can only be defined as YOUR PRESENCE and nothing else.
The other way to come to the same conclusion is if you were to work backward fragmenting time.
From years – months – days – weeks – hours – minutes – seconds – decisecond (one tenth of a second) – centisecond (one hundredth of a second) – millisecond (one thousandth of a second) – microsecond (one millionth of a second) – nanosecond (one billionth of a second) – picosecond (one trillionth of a second) – femtosecond (one quadrillionth of a second) – attosecond (one quintilionth of a second) – zeptosecond (one sextillionth of a second) – yoctosecond (one septillionth of a second) – Planck time (shortest theoretically measurable time), in Planck time, the brain loses the cognitive grasp on time, thus time ceases to exist.
TIME is a function of YOUR mind, not the other way around. The next time you find yourself struggling against time bring you awareness to your breath, slow the mental activity, peacefully and bring the awareness back into the moment and ask for a perfect solution to be delivered that would bring peace and joy to everyone.

A simple exercise that will prove that time is a function of the mind is for you to sit in front of a wall clock (analog) and continue observing the seconds needle whilst relaxing, the more you relax you will observe the seconds needle movement starts slowing down.
